North Dakota – A vehicle collided with a Canadian Pacific train on 165th Avenue SE on February 6, 2026.

The 21-year-old driver was not injured and was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

North Dakota Highway Patrol officials reminded the public that trains cannot stop quickly and always have the right of way, urging drivers to slow down, look, listen, and wait at crossings.
