Bismarck, N.D. – A 49-year-old Bismarck man was arrested after a stolen vehicle crashed and rolled near Valley City on Aug. 31.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded around 5:35 p.m. to a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of the I-94 westbound Exit 288 ramp and Barnes County Road 22.

The Mercury Grand Marquis was traveling westbound on I-94 before exiting at Exit 288. The vehicle continued across the intersection at the top of the ramp, vaulted and rolled.

The driver and sole occupant was injured and transported by Barnes County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Valley City.

The vehicle had been reported stolen from Valley City and was also connected to a hit-and-run crash in the city shortly before the rollover.

The driver was arrested for felony DUI and driving under revocation. He is also facing additional charges related to the stolen vehicle and hit-and-run crash.
