Bismarck, N.D. – According to the city officials, this event will start at 6:30 p.m.

City officials also announced that the speaker for this presentation will be Jason “Tomanek, a member of the Bismarck Historical Society Board of Directors.  

The topic of this presentation is “Postcards of Bismarck, North Dakota – A visual inventory of Bismarck’s history in a 3.5” x 5” format”.

Jason will share images from his extensive collection of postcards from Bismarck’s past, discuss the historical evolution of postcards and how they grew to such popularity, and demonstrate what a real-life deltiologist does with his spare time.

With nearly 400 different postcards to choose from, Jason has curated a visual inventory from the early days of Bismarck, the Dakota Territory, and through the modern era.
