Bismarck, N.D. – The City of Bismarck Community Development Department will hold several community input sessions throughout October and November as part of the ongoing Land Development Code (LDC) project.
The initiative, launched in fall 2024, aims to update and replace Title 14 of the city’s zoning code regulations. The new LDC will serve as the primary set of rules guiding how development occurs within the community.
To engage residents, city staff and consultants have been attending local events such as Bismarket and the Street Fair. “We want to make it easier for people to share their thoughts on this project by going to places and events where they are already,” said Acting Community Development Director Daniel Nairn.
As part of this outreach, city staff will host informal input sessions at two local coffee shops — Anima Cucina and Boneshaker Coffee — offering both morning and afternoon opportunities for residents to participate.
