Bismarck, N.D. – Community members gathered Thursday morning for the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, an event dedicated this year to supporting Crisis Care Chaplaincy and its work with the Bismarck Police Department and other area first responders.

The event, hosted by the City of Bismarck, featured retired Adjutant General Alan Dohrmann as the keynote speaker. His address offered a powerful and personal message, sharing insights from his own life and military service to highlight the importance of spiritual and emotional support for those who serve on the front lines.

Crisis Care Chaplaincy provides chaplain services to law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and their families throughout the region. The organization plays a vital role in offering guidance, crisis intervention, and emotional care for first responders dealing with the stress and trauma that often comes with the job.

City officials extended their gratitude to those who attended and supported the chaplaincy’s mission. “A BIG THANK YOU goes out to everyone who came out this morning,” the City wrote in a public statement, recognizing the value of community involvement in the wellbeing of first responders.
