Bismarck, N.D. – According to the city officials, a section of Canary Avenue in Bismarck will be temporarily closed to accommodate the 2025 State Track Meet, which is set to take place at the BSC Community Bowl.
The closure will begin at noon on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and will remain in effect until 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
The affected portion of Canary Avenue stretches from the main parking lot on the north side of the BSC Community Bowl, continuing west and then south to the parking lot on the southwest corner of the facility.
No official detour will be provided during the closure. However, attendants stationed at the barricades will allow access for vehicles visiting the Gateway to Science building.
Motorists and visitors are advised to plan accordingly and follow signage and guidance from on-site personnel during the event.
