Bismarck, N.D. – The annual Bismarck Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for May 20 at the Bismarck Radisson Hotel, with proceeds benefiting Crisis Care Chaplaincy (CCC). The organization provides emotional and spiritual support to first responders and citizens in crisis situations.
Tickets are available for purchase through Eventbrite or by contacting Travis Rau at 701-355-1894. Single tickets cost $25, while half-table and full-table options are priced at $250 and $500, respectively.
Bismarck Mayor Mike Schmitz, who will emcee the event, emphasized the importance of CCC in the community. “Crisis Care Chaplaincy provides a crucial need every day in our community for first responders and our citizens,” Schmitz said.
“When an individual or group is faced with tragic circumstances, these chaplains help navigate grief and foster healing.”
The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Alan Dohrmann, former Adjutant General of North Dakota. Dohrmann, who retired in October 2024, has a military career spanning four decades.
He previously commanded more than 4,100 North Dakota soldiers and airmen and supervised approximately 1,300 full-time state and federal employees. He now serves as Chief Operating Officer for the North Dakota Governor’s Office.
The event supports CCC’s ongoing efforts to assist agencies such as the Bismarck Police and Fire Departments, Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department, North Dakota Highway Patrol, and several other first responder organizations.
