North Dakota – On the morning of April 2, 2025, the North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to numerous accidents and motorist assists across the state due to hazardous driving conditions.

Troopers were on the scene of several crashes, providing traffic control and assisting stranded motorists.

In the Bismarck-Mandan area, specifically near mile marker 150 on I-94, multiple troopers worked to assist a motorist who had driven into the ditch.

While handling the situation, a driver attempted to navigate around the slowed traffic, inadvertently running over a visi-flare used to direct vehicles and nearly rear-ending a squad car in the process.

Authorities have emphasized the importance of patience and caution during these weather events, as they work to clear incidents and ensure public safety.

They urge motorists to allow extra time for their commutes in adverse weather conditions.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reminded the public to drive safely and remain vigilant while troopers manage the ongoing weather-related incidents across the state.
