Bismarck, N.D. – According to the city officials, Michael Connelly has been appointed to the City of Bismarck’s vacant Commission seat.

City officials also said that the appointment came at a special City Commission meeting on Friday, March 24.

The City Commission reviewed the applications submitted for the unexpired term that will expire in June 2024.

Connelly was one of 14 individuals who applied for the position that became available following the resignation of Mark Splonskowski earlier in the month.

Connelly, who works as a traveler at DTN Staffing, is expected to be sworn in at the City Commission meeting on April 11, 2023.
