Bismarck, N.D. – According to the city officials, they are looking at placing spring load restrictions on City of Bismarck streets and alleys.

As the temperatures continue to rise, spring load restrictions could be put into effect within the next couple of weeks.

Contractors/truckers should consider moving their heavy loads in the very near future before load restrictions are placed on City of Bismarck streets and alleys.

Restrictions will be lifted when roadbeds have stabilized enough to carry normal loads.

The proposed 2023 spring load restriction map is currently being developed, officials said.

This is a developing story and it will be updated as new information become available.
