Bismarck, N.D. – A 51-year-old Bismarck man died Sunday after his vehicle struck a tree on South Washington Street, according to the Bismarck Police Department.
The crash happened at about 1 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Washington Street. Police said the northbound vehicle, a 2004 Lexus sedan driven by David Huff, suddenly swerved to the left before striking a tree.
Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle make the abrupt movement shortly before the collision.
Bismarck Fire Department crews responded and extricated Huff from the vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The Bismarck Police Department said the crash remained under investigation.
