North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol announced that Colonel Haugen served as a judge at this year’s Polar Plunge in West Fargo.
The annual event challenges participants to take an icy plunge to raise funds for Special Olympics North Dakota through the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Officials said the funds help provide year-round training and competition opportunities for athletes across the state.
The patrol highlighted the commitment of both law enforcement and community members in supporting the athletes and the Special Olympics program.
