North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on October 25, 2025, around 8:30 p.m. in Ward County, approximately three miles southwest of Minot.
According to authorities, the Minot Police Department was pursuing a suspect involved in a felony domestic violence case when the vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, was traveling westbound on Ward County Road 14 at a high rate of speed. The vehicle continued onto a gravel road, lost control, entered a ditch, and rolled.
The 21-year-old male driver from Minot, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Trinity Hospital with serious injuries and later pronounced dead.
The Ward County Sheriff’s Office, Minot Rural Fire Department, and Trinity First Response assisted at the scene. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
