North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported that a driver was stopped on U.S. Highway 85 south of Williston for traveling 103 mph in a 65 mph zone.
Officials said the vehicle’s speed was recorded at 102 mph at the time it was locked in during the traffic stop.
Authorities also determined the driver was operating the vehicle with a currently suspended driver’s license.
A citation was issued with a fine of $134 and 12 points assessed.
State troopers continue to remind motorists that excessive speed and driving with a suspended license are serious violations that pose risks to public safety.
