North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) reported that on March 12, a driver was stopped for traveling 100 mph in an 80 mph zone on Interstate 94 near mile marker 326, close to Casselton.

The incident occurred during limited visibility from snow.

The driver told officers they were rushing to a State Basketball event in Bismarck.

NDHP reminds motorists to adjust speed according to weather and road conditions.
